Annual Independence Day Celebration 2019!!!
Even though our City Park was heavily flooded, Wooster City Park survived and is still standing proud! The City of Wooster would like to invite everyone to attend our Annual Independence Day Celebration which will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019. Festivities are planned to begin at 4:00 pm, kicking off with our famous lawn mower pull!
This annual event is to commemorate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence of July 4, 1776 and the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation. This event will include our National Anthem and Pledges to our US Flag, our Arkansas Flag, our Christian Flag, and our POW Flag. Our Faulkner County Judge, Jim Baker will be addressing the public and our Mayor Terry D Robinson will be officiating the program.
We will have the most delicious concessions, featuring our local Patton Family’s Concession, chef & owner, Todd Patton and the Wood’s Rodeo Mud Bugs Concession from Damascus, our neighboring community! You must get in gear and hear our local live band, the Tonky Honks too! There will be games and prizes for our children and last, but never least, our famous FIREWORKS display!
Come on out and enjoy the sun (finally!) and the fun! We look forward to seeing you there!
Thank you and most Sincerely,
The City of Wooster
