River Flooding
From the City of Wooster Facebook page:
As most of you know, the Arkansas River is projected to reach historical record levels in the next few days. As the river rises, the creeks, and streams that flow into the Arkansas will back up since there is nowhere for the water to go. In our area, the Cadron, Greenbrier, and Kaney creeks are forecasted to back up and more than likely cause significant flooding. If you live in these areas it is recommended that you prepare for this flood event. Sand bags may be picked up at the Beaverfork Fire Station on Beaverfork Road from 8am-8pm.
If you are unsure if your property will be impacted you can check at the link below. Click the menu at the top left, then select “Inundation Forecast for 0.2% Event” type your address in the search bar.
