Shaw Bridge Rd Customers: You may be without water for a little while.We had a call for heavy water flow in the ditch on the north side of Shaw Bridge Rd near Pilgrim Rest. We had to shut water off for the repair at 4:10 pm. Unsure how long water will be off, but when our Water Dept is finished with the repair, they will be turning on fire hydrants to flush the lines to keep our water safe & clean. When the fire hydrants are on, you should have some water, just not full pressure yet. After the fire hydrants are turned off and when you have full pressure, you may very well and most likely have air in your lines which will make your water sometimes look whitish or milky colored, may have bubbles. It just will not be normal to what you are used to.All you have to do is turn a faucet on, such as your kitchen faucet, turn your water on about half way and let it run for about t minutes. Sometimes, it might take around 10 minutes, but that should get rid of the air & bubbles in your line.Should you have any other issues, feel free to call us 8am - 5pm at 501-679-2048 or AFTER HOURS at 501-581-1001. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may be causing you.A Mass Communication effort has been made for those who have a Service Address for Shaw Bridge Rd, but spelled "Shawbridge" on your water bill.
